FINANCIAL AID OPPORTUNITIES
Alternative financing is available for those who qualify. The
following private companies offer loans in addition to the Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) loans. These loans are not federally funded and
require a credit worthy co-signer. Application forms can be requested
by calling their toll free number or by asking at your schools'
financial aid office if their application forms are available. Even
though the loan will be used for summer study it is better to apply
for your loan in the Fall semester as part of you Fall studies, since
your ARTIS program deposit will be due at the end of the semester.
Half of the program fee will be due by February 16th, with payment in
full due March 15th. Your loan money will need to be available for
the February 16th payment, therefore any loans applied for in the
Winter semester may risk not being processed in time to meet the half
payment due date. If these alternative loans are to be processed
through your schools' financial aid office, special attention needs
to be given to assure that the loan disbursement is before the above
due dates.
